In early ‘90s Boston, Jackie Rohr, a renowned FBI agent whose methods are not exactly by the book, and Decourcy Ward, the new Assistant District Attorney in town, form an unlikely alliance to take down a gang of armored truck robbers.
We wanted to capture the feeling of Boston in the early 1990s, while also giving the show a noir feel. To do this, we shot with the cast at the Brooklyn Navy Yard (complete with fake snow!) and then heavily treated the footage to feel like a living graphic novel. Our palette looped into the approved key art with pale greens and saturated yellows.
We advertised in Boston’s Fenway Park and the digital billboard LinkNYC screens throughout the city.
We explored various ways to show crime and Boston in the 1990s.
We explored different 90’s era and traditional cop show fonts.
